What it is and how it is specified
Cold Rolled Coil is processed from hot rolled steel to achieve tighter thickness tolerances and a smoother surface. It is widely used for appliances, furniture, drums, cable trays, ducting and general fabrication.
Specify CRC by grade, thickness, width, temper and surface finish. For bending or deep-drawing applications, select the grade and temper according to the forming requirement.
