Steel Prices in Pakistan - Per Ton Rate List
This is the working rate list Yasrab Impex quotes from at Moin Steel Market, Karachi — hot-rolled coil, GP/GI galvanised, PPGI colour-coated, and galvalume, quoted in Pakistani rupees per ton. The table shows the thickness, width, grade and, where it applies, the coil weight each rate belongs to; for the figure on your own lot, call us with the specification and tonnage in front of you.
| Type | Thickness / MM | Size/Type | Grade | Price/Ton | Coil Weight | Delivery From |

How to read this steel rate list
Where the PRICE/TON column carries a rupee figure, it is Pakistani rupees per ton — that is per 1,000 kg, the metric ton the local steel trade works in. If you need a per-kilo figure, divide by 1,000. Read each row from the left: the material, the thickness in millimetres, the width or type, the grade, then the rate, the coil weight and the point the material is offered from.
Two kinds of price appear in the same column. Some rows carry an absolute rupee figure. Others are written as a differential against the mill rate — a figure followed by “down Mill Rate”. A differential means the price is the prevailing local mill rate for the equivalent grade and thickness, less the amount shown on that row: take the mill rate you are working with and subtract the stated differential to get the rupee figure. Imported material that competes directly against local coil is commonly quoted this way, including the Chinese prime GP lines here — rather than restate a number every time the mills revise their lists, the row is written against the mill. Two things follow: such a line cannot be read as a finished figure without the mill rate on the day, and the differential itself tells you where the imported coil sits relative to the local mill.
A line with no rupee figure is priced against the lot. Secondary is not a standard product — gauge tolerance, coating weight and surface condition vary from one lot to the next — so it cannot be priced off a list the way prime can, which is why such a row can read “Depends on Deal” rather than carry a number. If you are buying secondary galvanised coil, inspect it and ask what the lot consists of; our note on white rust on galvanised coil covers what to look for on the surface.
The Coil Weight column is the approximate weight of a single coil of that material, where the row states one, so you can turn a per-ton rate into the cost of one coil by multiplying the two together. On the hot rolled line it carries a minimum order quantity instead of a coil weight. Where a cell is blank, the list does not state it — ask.
The GRADE column carries the material specification: commercial quality on the prime coated and galvanised rows, a hard temper on the secondary row, a structural grade such as Q235B on hot rolled, and a colour reference (9016, white) on the colour-coated row. Hard-temper material has very little elongation, so it suits roll-forming to a profile rather than deep bending or drawing. Where a Z number appears in the material description — Z95, Z140 — that is the zinc coating class, which the galvanised section below explains. Widths are in millimetres: 1000, 1200 and 1219 are the standard coil widths in this market, and odd widths turn up on secondary lots.
The Delivery From column names the point each line is offered from. It tells you where the material is and nothing more than that; it is not a commitment on delivery, freight or timing. Rates on this list are indicative of the position as at the date shown on this page and are confirmed on enquiry — mill revisions, the rupee and duty changes all move the number in between. Before you cost a job on these figures, call +92 314 3279729 or come to the office at 85-A, Moin Steel Market, Karachi, and have the rate, availability, the coil weight, the location, and whether the line is quoted duty-paid or ex-bond, confirmed for the lot you are actually buying.
The list covers hot rolled coil, galvanised, colour-coated and galvalume. Cold rolled coil does not appear as a row on it — the ISL CRC and Aisha CRC pages cover that product, and the wider range is on our products list.
